Sie sind geschickt und zuverlässig in der Montage anspruchsvoller Baugruppen, im Handling empfindlicher Optiken sowie im Umgang mit feinen Werkzeugen wie Pinzette und kleinen Schraubenziehern?  Sie fühlen sich in einem Team von Technikbegeisterten wohl und sprechen fließend Deutsch?  Dann sind Sie bei uns genau richtig!   Ihre Aufgabe ist - nach entsprechender Einarbeitung - der Einbau von Optiken und Substraten, der Aufbau, die Inbetriebnahme und die Prüfung von Laserstrahlquellen.  Sie sind für die Planung, Durchführung und Auswertung von Labormessungen an Optiken, opto-mechanischen und mechatronischen Bauteilen, Baugruppen und Systemen zuständig und dokumentieren das Ergebnis in Prüfberichten.  Ein Arbeitsplatz sowohl im Büro als auch Arbeitsstationen im Reinraum stehen zur Verfügung.  Wir bieten eine hochtechnologische Tätigkeit in einem jungem, dynamischem Team mit Kunden in aller Welt! 

Laser physicist | Laser engineer

Laser development and engineering, custom laser manufacturing 

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pulsed Laser enthusiast (with or without excellent programming knowledge) at MONTFORT Laser's facilities here in Götzis, Austria. The Pulsed Laser enthusiast will be responsible for building, designing and testing laser systems, and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions. 

Qualifications

• Experience in laser build-up, laser design and testing, with knowledge of Diode-pumped Pulsed Lasers
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and creativity
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Physics, Engineering, or a related field
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to communicate with customers
• Fluent German knowledge is required
• (beneficial) Experience with computer programming and software development is a plus
  
  

The successful candidate will also have strong communication skills, and be able to work effectively with colleagues across different disciplines. 

With a few years experience in lasers as a physicist or laser engineer, you would like to apply your laser skills and are ready to learn a lot and get projects done.  Fluent language skills in both German and English are required.
